CINCINNATI, OH - Pro Mach, Inc. announced today that its Brenton Engineering division has acquired the Currie Machinery Company, a leading provider of palletizing systems and material handling equipment.

"We're pleased to add the Currie product line to Brenton's existing palletizing and material handling solutions," said Scott Leuschke, Brenton Engineering Vice President and General Manager. We will continue to invest in the Currie products and integrate them with our existing line. We're enthusiastic about the potential to better serve our customers with a broader range of solutions and provide Currie's existing customers with enhanced service and support."

With the acquisition of Currie, Brenton Engineering adds a broad range of conventional palletizing solutions to its existing product line. During nearly 80 years of operation, the California-based Currie Machinery Company has earned a strong reputation for designing and manufacturing rugged, dependable, easy to maintain, high output palletizers and material handling equipment. The Currie product line includes automatic low and high level infeed palletizers, case elevators, pallet dispensers, slip sheet dispensers and complete palletizing systems.

Brenton Engineering designs, manufactures and integrates end-of-line packaging, shrink wrapping, robotic, case packing and material handling equipment. Brenton Engineering is a packaging industry leader in servo-technology applications and integrating automated solutions for complex packaging needs. Brenton is the largest provider of Fanuc robotic packaging systems in North America. The Currie product line will be manufactured by Brenton at its Minnesota facilities.

"Our focus always has been providing dependable, high quality cost-effective equipment and solutions," said Don Currie, President, Currie Machinery Company. "Currie has one of the largest installed bases in the industry. I'm pleased, as I believe our customers will be, that the Currie product line will continue as part of Brenton Engineering.
